The farm is located in Sarticola, near the village of Ortonovo, 120 metres above sea-level and spreads over 4 hectares. It produces especially:
» Olive oil (varieties: razzola, prempesa, lantesca, frantoio)
» Wine (varieties: Vermentino and Merlot)
» Honey: chestnut-tree and acacia
» Season vegetables (tomatoes, basil, aubergines, potatoes, courgettes, cabbages)
» Farmyard animals: poultry, gooses, pheasants, pigeons, ducks, guinea-fowls

Our farm is part of the Progetto Regionale delle Fattorie Didattiche (Regional Project of “didactic-farms”) "Saperi e sapori della Liguria" (Traditions, Knowledge and Taste of Liguria Region) and of Associazione Olivicoltori Colline di Ortonovo (Olive-farmers Partnership Colline of Ortonovo).

This place is very rich of surprises: wonderful views between typical Liguria hills and the sea, Magra river's mouth and the Versilia coast, and much more.

Our farm offers both outside facilities, like a park with tables, as well as accommodations: a two-room apartment and rooms with in-room bathroom and toilet. La Sarticola is a quiet place, in harmony with our landscape and nature, where spontaneous people like Matteo, his parents Carlo and Paola, and his brother Marco live and work.
Our cuisine is joyful: we prepare typical regional dishes, evidence of culinary continuity with our tradition. We have a passion for our wines and our olive oil, which was awarded with important prizes over the years. We obtain an incomparable extra virgin olive oil, thanks to the path of excellence BuonOlio Project, to the experience and passion of Antonelli family and to the regional mix varieties. His main characteristics: fruity medium, herbaceous, a nice balance between spicy, delicate sweet and bitter flavors.
