Sweet hills, with olive trees and vineyards, Mediterranean scents and colors form the environmental context around our Azienda Agricola Agriturismo La Sarticola, near Ortonovo.
In this landscape, close to the beaches of Marinella di Sarzana and Marina di Carrara, you will find historical villages (Ortonovo and Nicola), olive trees, vineyards and beautiful views of the sea. If you take the road towards Ortonovo, climbing behind the sea through these lands owned by the family Antonelli, a romantic place appears: olive groves, vineyards, arable land planted with trees, woods and meadows. These old lands feel like the typical flavors of Liguria, rich of history and traditions, where olive oil dominates, as a symbol of an area, and as a common heritage of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine.
Thanks to a favourable geographical position and mild climate, a journey in Sarticola is always a very pleasant experience.

By Motorway: A12, Carrara exit. Agriturismo "La Sarticola" is only about 5 km away. Leaving the motorway, turn left along Viale Galilei.
At the second traffic light, turn left and take the SS1 Aurelia. At the third traffic light turn right onto state road and follow this road until Casano (for about 2.5 km), then turn left and follow our road signs.
